Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was born in Italy while her father served as a soldier in the U.S. military and she was raised within Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. In the late 1990s, she started professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she was employed at a regional theater where she played a role was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. When she made her screen debut as a cute but serious contestant, she moved into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The husband of her Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was caught by actress Norma shearer and was offered a contract to work for MGM during the 1940s. In the 1960s, she appeared in popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
