Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28, 1967. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. Her father was an early interest in the stage. While a student at Emory University he appeared in numerous productions at and off the campus. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. They got married in 2005, and had their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in the year 1957. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated into Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for children known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it lasted six years. In the meantime, they also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
